Man I was thinking yesterday. "My car is 3 years old!" I have never owned a car for this long.........I plan on holding on to her for some time becasue I like her and have done some work to her.........

plus i own a new house and have a child on the way!

not much extra money........

happy holiday's everyone!

We're planning on keeping ours for as long as possible, we love itthat much

Hell, I bought a new car as a daily driver just so that we don't rack up miles on our P5

This is an illness, I know (glare)

Yeah, 3 years, not old. My truck is 20 years old now I believe (not incredibly old, but you get the point), but I see your point. I know a lot of people that get new cars after like 2-3 years, I guess we just hold onto 'em longer in my family

this june...5 years young!! 73K on her and she runs real strong..(first) ..she's a keeper...maybe in a couple of years i might go for the mx5...?

I got mine 3 years ago in October. Almost 40K on the odometer, and runs great. Gotta do an oil change this week, but nothing else really needed.

I think it says something that 90 percent of 5 owners wanna keep 'em..

LOL WOW, thats crazy if you think 3 years is old. Before I got my protege5 I had a 17 year-old corolla (88) and a 10 year-old talon (95).

I don't even consider the Talon that old really, I mean its still fairly modern in terms of technology (ABS, AWD, etc.). I guess everyone's opinion is different.

cars from the mid 90's and up age gracefully i think, especially if you take care of it. I got a 95' montecarlo that isnt old imo.

Hope mine lasts as long as my 1982 toyota truck - 400k so far. P5 still fresh @ 38k.........Neither going away.........

I've owned my baby for just about a year now, and those ~14k have been great :D I hope to keep it a long, long time

yeah, early june......

trouble! i am going to have to get a bigger car/SUV to carry all the stuff. The P5 and the Jetta are small!

Think the P5 will have to go (shrug) ; the Jetta has well under 10K still.
