So I washed/waxed my car this weekend and was driving by the (now useless) Mirabel International Airport when I decided it was time for an improvised photo shoot. I parked in front of the terminal and I just had time for a couple pictures before airport security got there and politely asked me to leave.
So here you go, enjoy. Please note i'm not a pro photographer ;)

Doesnt anyone go to that airport??

They closed it down a couple years ago to move everything to the bigger airport in Montreal. I think only cargo now goes through...But they have not closed all access roads.

Nice. Are those bug deflectors still availible anywhere? my hood is getting shredding from all the highway driving I do.

Wow that's one amazing location...Would be great for any kind of Photography....

"Very Nice" but you need to do something bout' them calipers and rotors, damn!!

I was wondering what color to paint calipers, red on red P5 ? not sure about it. The bug deflector isnt Mazda, its some proflex or something.

Nice shots! Red P5 with an aftermarket rack--looks familiar! ;)

Red's a good color for brake calipers.

Would be a sweet location....at a different time of day. The bright sunlight and tree shadows are distracting. Just some constructive criticism.

Keep moving the car to aim towards the light - keeps the shadow off the front. *Use a flash!* Everytime! Eliminates shadows.

I do like the choice of background.

On a red p5, I'd go with gloss black or silver/titanium for the rotors... just my $.02

Good pics, other than the shadows, though!!!

When I painted my wheels black, my calipers were the color of something nasty...rust and dirt! (notcool) So I figured since I had my sander out, might as well try and sand out the rust and polsih it a lil bit...it worked very well. You can't really notice a big difference by itself but when I put the black wheels back on, there was definitely a contrast...a very good contrast. I'd take a pic of it right now just to show you but it hasn't stopped raining here in Florida long enough to keep the raods dry! When it does, I'll take a pic and post it. Maybe you'll like it...or not. (dunno)
