there ya have it.

They should go to some real street races and see what kind of cars are actually out there. I'm not sure about SoCal, but up here in NorCal cars at the races don't have crazy paint jobs like that.

whoa, we don't have crazy paint jobs like that here (socal)

plus, it's a "Fast and the Furious" movie...the cars in the first movie wasn't exactly race material (meaning, it was all show to me...real race cars have the interior gutted out to make it lighter)

Wow. That makes my eyes hurt.

(The Ballistic Protege) I couldn't get the image to copy

This I like. Would look sweet with a Carbon Fiber Hood.

ok well here i go....

one: whats with the damn IGNORANT ASS names such as "rice and the rediculous"? trust me, fast and the furious is a double edged sword, it helps the "import scene", yet it hurts it.
two: Fast and the Furious is NOT, i mean NOT a biography on street racing, it IS a movie, it IS for entertainment purposes.
three: why would anyone consider that paint job? well you know who owns that car even if you hadnt seen the APC sticker on the front windshield. what is the PLUS of having people remember your car? popularity, publicity.
four: shame its an APC car?...uhm APC has alot of awesome stuff out for cars, maybe not for the MP3, but for other cars it does. lucky for you APC is one of the companies that is willing to set trends, make products, etc.....there are also those few "bad" things, but guess what.......they sell.

Manuel, try decaf. :)
I hear what you are saying and agree though. I kinda like the puzzle paint job. Never seen it before and like the concept. I like different, that's how and why I got the car I have. It's cool to see what flows from other peoples minds sometimes, even if I wouldn't do it to my car.
As for the movie, no, it wasn't the best acting or plot I've seen, but I do own it. Not a whole lot else on the street scene yet, and some of the ideas were pretty cool for paint and bodywork. I also agree that it did a lot for the industry, good or bad.

I don't remember exactly which issue, but there was an article on the puzzle car in a recent "Car Audio And Electronics" (I may have the wrong mag - I get several on the same subjects) that went over the paint and installs. the outside is not the only part that was really customized, they used the puzzle theme everywhere inside too.

Like the Ballistic Protege...hate the puzzlemobile.

My least favorite part of FATF was that it encouraged too many people to go all out on what they term as "looks" and you have all these people on the roads now who figure they have the fastest car around trying to rev on you at lights and generally endanger the public.

coffee is bad for you....nah man its just that it not only infuriates me, but it sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOO ignorant to use "name calling" without even thinking something out. its like people resort to name calling when they have no valid point, have run out of excuses....or are just plain slow.......thats all the bitchen' from me for today...or atleast right now....

PS
ya know ya loveeeee that puzzle paint job....come on!! you used to love em when you were 6. uhm ok maybe not 6 but uhm....nevermind.
