P5 head unit removal problems

OK I am now reiviving this thread because I really do need to remove the stock radio from my P5 to make way form my new Blaupunkt cd player, sport20's custom dual single din gauge pod, and two carbon fiber autometer gauges.

So I got everything from Crutchfield including everything to install it but I am having some trouble removing it again. I am using the tools that the kit came with but the clips on the right side are not coming loose!

I need this installed before tomorrow for a car show so your speedy help and tips on this matter would be much appreciated.
