ive been having idle issues with my car since my rebuilt trans was put in. i replaced the IAC today per the recommendation of 3 different mechanics. that helped a lot with the bucking in reverse and the stall outs in drive. but today in traffic i threw a CEL, went back to the shop and ran the code.
P0506- Idle Control System (RPM Too Low)
im thinking that i just need to adjust the idle screw on the throttle body, but i wanna know if theres anything else (besides something simple such as the idle screw) that would cause that code to be thrown.
i have no vacuum leaks and all my electrical connections are plugged in securely.
any help would be greatly appreciated, i need this car to run normally before saturday (when i move)
