well that looks mighty sharp

edit - by the way, a senior project director bought a MAZDASPEED plate frame from my site a few months ago, said he owns a 350z and the frame was a gift for someone who owns an MSP, was that for you?

ohh man. very nice. I will be buying PS3 as it will own 360 but will buy the new NFS for the comp. Always loved NFS

i'll believe it when i acutally see it in action. I've seen plenty of redering like that before from EA for ps and ps2 games.

How did you get into that job, and what aspect of the game do you work on? Is it really crazy slave labor like people say?

Naw I never got it. :) I don't know anyone else on the development team that has an MSP.

My MSP is pretty famous here, since I've worked on NFS for almost 5 years now.

It is an authentic shot from 360, I saw the guy take it.

How did you get into that job,

After highschool just keep making demo reels and buggin HR at ea. Finally got into testing, started doing art unofficially there after 2 weeks, worked on all the heads for NBA Live 2001. A buddy of mine started at Black Box Games as a modeller, so he got me over there, worked on Hot Pursuit 2 at Black Box, EA bought Black Box, rest is history.

I'm the Lead Technical Artist on this team, working under the Technical Art Director. My job is to make sure the artists are making their art proper for video games, as opposed to complex/messy geometry artists get away with in movies. I also act as a liason between programmers and artists.

Naw man it's not that bad. I work some crazy overtime at certain stretches of the project, but we get mad bonuses, food served, compensation time, and other stuff as well, plus if I have other plans they are pretty good about working around my schedule.

game is looking sharp. Nice work. I have to admit, you guys are really bringing the NFS franchise around these past few years. Good work.
