Official ARSCCA Pts 1 Thread

wow that looks sick

No kidding dude, hard core. Gives the MX5 a REALLY agressive look. Of course, that's got the suspension all loaded up, but still really cool.

Mine's about at that ride height sitting still LOL

Team Brokeback Autocross: I expect to see something very similar to this by Sunday. Ready go.

Well, it'll probably look a lot more like that at Pts 2 with the new wheels and tires and GCs. Even those wheels, I think.

RPF1s? At least, that's what I think those are... Also, you'll ahve to send pics then. I won't be at points 2 and most likely not at points 3 either. I'll be getting off of a 17 hour flight at about 4 that sunday haha

ok i thought i heard that a while ago but i may be very wrong there....they are excelent wheels thought about getting them as dailys at one point

I should be there as well. What time is the best time to come. Cause I live in Bumfuck Egypt and it takes me a minute to get there. I know I read that Andrew will be there at like 5:30?!

God I hope not! Were did you read that? I'll probably getting up at 5:30. And it ain't just me... Kevin and LukeAnn to name a few others need to be there early as well. Granted, we're setting up. If you're coming to watch, first car off is at 9, so any time thereabouts.

you cant live in BFE.. i do :)

its 115 miles to Six Flags from my house.

Ouch.

Well maybe I read that you were going to be there at 5:30 and it was the time you were getting up. I'm retarded, what do you expect? Alright... so be there about 9 ish. That makes it a whole different morning.

For those of you running tomorrow who may not frequent to soloatl forum, I'll post this here for your benefit:

Well, I just got some good news / bad news from Heyward.

Tomorrow's course measures in at just under a mile. What does this mean to you? Well, it will take approximately 30 minutes to walk it. I know most of us like getting 3 or 4 walks in. So... you do the math. Do not expect to show up at the last minute and get more than 1 course walk in. The course has been approved by Safety and will be available for walking first thing. Please get there early so we can get our first car off as scheduled by 9:00.

Thanks, and I hope to see you all in Grid!

Andrew

Cliff's notes: Get there early!

it looks like it might be raining, but we'll see. a mile long auto-x course- pretty sweet. also, i'm guessing someone is gonna bring the mazda canopy?

speaking of drive home i saw a truck that was speeding like 15-20 over in the rain spin out and hit the barrier on 285. it didnt roll over, it looked like no other cars were involved.

Other than the drive home it was a great day.

We saw you driving along 285 plowing water out of the road...

Glad you made it home safe. I think we saw about 6 wrecks, one really bad one...
