OEM Mazda 5 Roof Rack Question???

First post, so take it easy on me guys. I wondered if anyone can confirm that factory roof rack from Mazda will fit all Thule carriers. I already have a Thule rack from previous cars, and wanted to reuse my bike trays. Does the Mazda bar have the same dimenions as a Thule Bar?

Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if I understand yr question?
Do you want to reuse your bike racks on the Mazda5 factory roof rack, or do you want to reuse the Thule roof rack on the Mazda5?

Sorry. I don't think I explained myself clearly.

I have existing Thule accessories (Ski Box, and Bike Carriers). They fit the rectanular profile of a Thule Cross Bar. I had found some information a while back that suggested the profile of the factory rack I can purchase from Mazda has the same rectanular profile for the cross bars by Thule. If so, I can reuse my carriers. Can that be confirmed?

confirmed. the mazda rack is made by thule. I use my older thule attachments on it, a perfect fit.

Confirmed again. I bought the Mazda OE racks last year and promptly went out and popped a Thule carrier on them. No worries.

I have seen Yakima accessories in pics on the 5. Can both fit? Just wondering.

Yakima components are designed to work on Thule bars.

Does anyone use the bike rack supplied by Mazda atop the OEM bars? If so, how much height does that add to the roof of the 5? I am concerned since my garage is rather short. I had to snip off the top of my antenna so it wouldn't hit my garage door as well. Topped the sucker off with a ball of Epoxy to protect it from the elements.
