OBX-R is King!!! Read On

I am very good friends with the owner of my area's speedshop. Well anyways he showed me the new OBX-R 2002 catalog. All the parts I could find that said 2000+ 2.0 Protege were:

Ceramic coated headers
Full stainless steel catback exhuast system there are a couple of them with different style mufflers and tips
Short Ram intakes
Cross drilled/slotted brake rotors front and back these things are hot
Spark plug wires but i dont know how that works with our ride.

Well im impressed that OBX-R is coming out with all this stuff

Yeah...But they are lagging it with the hedders...probably having issues with the CARB certifications...

i saw they also have strut bars.... i bid on one of them on ebay but im being out bid right now.... ...

I have a OBX-R Muffler and I must say that it sounds really good with my CAI Intake.

Does OBX-R have a website?

I too have OBX-R exhaust! I am very satisfied with it. I got adjustable not that noisy!

Not to rain on everyone's parade but I just wanted to warn you that OBX is really a pretty crappy company, they do not design anything on their own and take off the shelf, made in china or taiwan components and slap their name on it. Feel free to buy the stuff if you want but don't say I didn't warn you.

Hey this information was not on their internet site, it was on their brand new 2002 catalog, I saw the catalog with my own eyes. Most HP Racing and OBX stuff isnt carb exempt thats why its so cheap. just cause it doesnt have the exempt doesnt mean it wont pass emissions and in florida we dont have emissions test so i dont have to worry about it

Ain't Florida great! I haven't had a car inspected for like 20 years, and it's wonderful to ignore CARB and all their bull s***. The major drawback is all the slow poke blue hairs clogging the left lane in their Caddys. It's getting bad here in Cocoa Beach.

Anybody contact OBX-R and get an availability date on the headers yet? I'm burned out on calling all these companies and asking about a header, cuz the answer is always the same.
