Now that Winter's over (at least in northern U.S.!)

...did any of you go through this (very) snowy winter with the OEM tires on a S-GT (18-inchers)? I'm probably going to get mine next Fall and am wondering if I can get away without immediately getting a set of winter tires like we had to do on our '08 Mazda3.

I started out with the OEM all-season Dunlops. They did OK, but my Michelin Xi3s did much better.

I did about 10k miles of driving this winter with no issues. I may switch to winter tires next year but am not sure. Depends on if I can sell the OEMs to finance the purchase.
