Hey all.
Just picked up an '03 Mazda 6 2.3L and have a few questions.
On the engine oil fill cap it says 5w20 oil. I have always used 5w30 in my vehicles and was wondering if there was some specific reason Mazda recommends 5w20 for the 2.3. If not, I'm sure 5w30 will be just fine.
When I pulled the plastic cover off of the engine, there is a white blanket attached to the underside of the cover and it just completely fell apart when I took the cover off. Whats the deal with this blanket? Is this something that should be replaced regularly? Or not worry about it.
I only got 1 key for it when I bought it. Where is a good(read cheap) place to get an additional key.
Will this car run ok on regular grade gas?
Any TSBs listed on this year that I need to look into? I looked around on this site a little and didn't see any.
Anything else I need to know?
Seems like a really fun car and the 4 banger is pretty peppy.
