No Dead Pedal (2025 CX-5 Premium Plus)

Just got my 2025 CX-5 Premium Plus and realized no dead pedal to rest my foot just carpet there. Wonder if carpet will wear faster there. Used to having a hard dead pedal coming from manuals.

Agreed. That's why I added the Canadian Mazda OEM floor liners which cover the dead pedal area.

You can get metal+rubber covers from eBay/Amazon/AliExpress. Either a full set for all the pedals, or just the dead pedal. I got the full set for our 2019 when we first got it, and they hold up well.

On the Mazdausa site when building a CX-5 under accessories it shows separate alloy accelerator pedal and separate alloy brake pedal but with both the pictures show an alloy dead pedal. The brake pedal accessory is $126 and accelerator pedal $66, you would think that just brake pedal 2x price unless it includes dead pedal.
