I am moving to NJ in a week or two and will be buying a new car. I was hoping to go with the MS3, but based on what I have been getting qouted for insurance it looks like I may have to go with the standard 3 to fit my budget.
I was looking over the rates that people mentioned they are paying and it seems that you either pretty much get the shaft in NJ or that I am looking with the wrong companies.
So far it looks like progressive may be the cheapest.
I have gotten a quote of $235/mo for the MS3 with 100,000/300,000 full coverage
And $160/mo for the regular 3 with the same coverage.
I am 29, single, Male, been driving since i was 16, and have no accidents or tickets. Credit is very good.
These rates seem pretty insane to me. Especially considering what i have seen others quoting as their rates on this forum. Looks like my rate is the same or even more than what others are paying on multiple cars.
Anyone have any advice, or is this just the reality of living in Jersey?
Thanks,
Jeff
