Hey guys, I'm a newbie here....my wife bought (supposedly) the "first" Mazda 3s available here in northern virginia (traded in her POS Jetta)....so I'll be hanging around to see what's up with mods for this car....
not planning on modding hers much, as my 2000 Maxima has the bulk of the mods (and still going)...
BUT I do have a question for you guys, since you are the Mazda experts and I am not: I really like the 5sp shifter knob on the 3, and actually would be interested in getting one to put in my Maxima...I have tried her knob on the max and it doesn't quite fit (very close)...
anyhow, does anyone here know the thread sizing on the Mazda 3 knob? I am getting a short shifter for the maxima so could have it threaded to fit.
