Trailblazer SS AWD ....Still a Mazda Junkie Though.
OK, first ill start by sayin hi to all fellow MSP owners! I recently purchased my spicy orange MSP on 2-3-2003.I am very pleased with the car so far.I already have 2700 mi. on it and i'm now ready to start with my mods.I am by no way new to performance and show cars beacause i have had both.I have owned quite a few mustangs and a few hondas , all unique in there own ways.I'm sure some of you on this board (if you go to large shows in the midwest)have seen my last ride,a '95 Del Sol that was DONE UP RIGHT! I won many shows with that car including NOPI nationals in atlanta. But enough about that, just trying to give you guys some kind of background on myself, heres what i need so let me know if you have or can get it.I need a spicy orange full rear bumper cover in perfect shape(maybe one of you guys know where a totaled one is that was hit in the front)and im also interested to see how many of you might be interested in a FMIC and full hard pipe set-up for your MSP's.I go next weekend to meet with a guy to see about prototyping one and i need some input of how many of you might want to have this?I have no clue on what it will cost as of yet till i meet with the guy but he is very good. I guess thats all for now(pretty long post for a newbie but i think you guys will see im very good at building quality cars and i have many connections in the industry from doing this for years) Feel free to e-mail me ,any replies or questions are welcome. OH ,by the way i just ran at the track last night to baseline my car before mods, 15.1@90 not too bad for a 15.30 car! LATA!:)

ForcedFed,

Welcome to the boards. Glad to see more enthusiats and Tuners showing up on a daily basis. Im in Pittsbugh, and probably have seen you Sol. at one show or another.

FMIC is going to be my first major upgrade, so keep us informed. I, personally, am very interested. I am only like 5 hrs away so, if a second car is needed, Im game. :D

OH yeah ,i forgot to put in the post that this guy does use mandrel bent piping and you will have a choice of color for the powdercoating when it is all said and done. you will also be able to pick your type of BOV flange for you guys that want to axe the OEM one (which im sure is everyone!).Also to let you guys know ,i'm about form and function but i also show so if it doesnt meet these criteria i wont use it!

15.1? s*** i can only pull 15.8 according to my timer but im here in tx... do u get 2nd gear scratch cuz i think my tranny might be ******... cuz i cant get a big 2nd gear scratch outta it. and when u reverse i get the radio control car sound but when it slows down it sounds like some s*** rattling... im thinkg its the LSD but who knows... im sure from my previous experience with a 626 with the same engine and tranny combo itll be toast in no time. oh well i got plans for some high HP numbers...

and feel free to IM me on my aim if anyone wants to chat bout the car cuz posting on this board with dial up sucks ass. can make a mazdaspeed online chat with the AIM messenger better than that crap on this

twiztedjeckel,

Terry has not got the test mule yet. He said it will be mid april before he can do the charge pipe re-fab for the t-25. the rest of the kit for the spool stage1/2 kit will fit.

you guys do remember that Spool Turbo fabbed up a nice little front mount kit for our cars right?

which is why i said i'd like to see an fmic that keeps the bumper support. :D

with the way people drive here, i'd have to keep it. i've been backed into three times. twice at stop lights  and i'd really rather not go to jail after beating the snot out of someone for busting up my bumper AND fmic.

yeah i'm interested in an fmic too with some nice hard piping, not this plastic crap. who gave the japanese plastic anyways??? i think they are abusing it. it would be cool if we could get a fmic that still uses the stock sidemount just kept in the flow path (is that what its called?), just like the fmic kits for the audi A6 1.8t.

i was not aware that spool made a FMIC for these cars ,but by no means would i lose the bumper support. When we start on the kit it will have to retain the support ,it will prob use a very wide and short intercooler that will be positioned in right in the lower opening and if all goes well it'll use existing bolts or holes so no mods will have to be done to get it to fit.I dont like holes where they are not supposed to be unless there is no other alternative.

JDM sam for your question about where i shift ,it's around 63-6400.

I also forgot to mention that i also need an all black MSP upper grille (i dont want to paint mine)

great! there need to be more people/companies that think that way when making performance mods for cars. (thumb)
