New to the MSP family

Hey all. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Back in November of last year I got myself a 03.5 MSP. I'm pretty sure it's #468.
I've already put about two grand into it. Tranny, tires, front link pins, etc., and not the turbo is leaking. Apparently two owners ago beat the snot out of it and I got stuck with the leftovers. No biggie though. I love the car and look forward to chatting with you all.

I will tell you now that owning an MSP can be an uphill battle at times, but when harmony is found, there is no greater feeling than driving this car.

Thanks guys. It's the dark silver/titanium and has 75,000 miles. I'm pretty sure it has a new exhaust. Magnaflow. I'd like to get a FMI and a bov/bpv. Not wanting to spend a ton of cash though. Recently became a professional student/unemployed so the cash flow is kinda low right now.

Welcome! Coming from a none-turbo model Protege I have to say I fell in love with the car. Now after 5 years I am the owner of an MSP. It will be even better when I start the new engine I am building for it. I have not driven an MSP or mine for that matter so this will be an exciting experience for me.

Welcome! Enjoy your msp and the maintenance involved. It's worth it though. I just got done replacing my struts, sway bar bushings, rotors, brake lines, endlinks, both front calipers and new pads and my car is a blast to drive again!!
