2005 Mazda 3
Got a 2005 Mazda 3 and I wanted to do alot to it. I wanted to do some to the appearance first then work on the performance. I tinted the windows so far with the low budget I have I can't do too much at once. I was wondering what would be a good thing to start on like Rims, Kits, Tires, Lowering kit, etc. Any tips on starting to do the exterior would be great. Thanks.

PS: If this is the wrong place for this Im sorry. Still learning where things go.

1: Rims (forged if you can afford them)
2: Body kit
3: 600 watt sound system

As for engine and performance, go with

1: CAI (Cold Air Intake)
2: Exhaust
3: ECU piggy back system

These will give you the most bang for the buck power increase (next to a turbo of course!) As for interior though, I've never really modified the interior of my cars (boom08)

Welcome to the forum. As for mods, start with tints, side moldings, then lowering kit, CAI, Headers and cat-back exhaust,

welcome to the forums!

As for mods, if youre going for appearance, tint is a good start. Removing the side moldings looks good on the sedans. Next i would go with a suspension upgrade (lowering springs and if you want, upgraded struts). I personally think that a 3 with rims does not look good unless its lowered, so I would suggest that if you can only afford a little bit at a time, I would lower the car first then go for the upgraded rims.

when you get around to performance mods, starting with an intake/exhaust/headers is the basic starting point and is a quick way to get more power out of your motor
