Mine is from FL as well. I dunno why dealers down there insist on pinstriping cars that don't need it. I ended up taking a dremmel and polishing compound to mine to get it off.

And the pin-stripe should follow the belt line.

the problem with a pin-stripe on the 2 is that if you follow the belt-line, it hits the fender lines in a really weird angle.

Pin-tripes were from a time before we could form sheet-metal with the complexity we do now. now they're just added as a thoughtless "value-add" that actually interferes with the design. total silliness.
