Hey guys, I just got my 2008.5 White mazdaspeed 3 today. I've been lurking around the forums for about a month before my ms3. But here I am, I finally got it. (nana) So hello! (pictures taken from iPhone)

Not getting any plates until next week, because of work... But it's such a tease having it sit in the driveway all week.

It looks lowered too. Those are good basic mods that you have.

So I finally got my plates last night... It's been a good 3 weeks waiting around. So I finally took it for a drive (First manual car) floored it when i left my house and man it felt like a rollercoaster. It was like kingda ka without the shifting. This has been the fastest car i've been in/drove in. Can't imagine how much faster I can go after I get the cobb accessport. I kept getting stuck at 5500 rpm yesterday, and it still felt fast. But I know it can go faster. Great car.

I noticed the car doesnt take the bumps that great, it feels even more bumpier than it would feel when i drive my other car. Could it be that the car has been lowered? Or is it the suspension?

Factory suspension is already sport tuned, so it rides like it, you're lowered and throw in our 3rd world condition roads in NY and you got a hard ride. But boy does it handle good. You'll get immediate response and a good feel for the road. Your MS3 will beg for more!

what I meant was the car has a lowered suspension which can tend to make it ride a little rough. Not necessarily bad for the car. Since the car
was purchased used, you probably don't know what was done to the suspension as far as just lowering springs or if the struts were replaced
as well. I do like the stance of it though as far as looks but might be too bouncy for a daily driver for some people.
