Hey everyone. I just recently purchased a 2007 CX9 GT AWD. Looking for the best CX9 forum brought me to this site.

I do have the modding bug but this car has everything I can think of so far. I may consider replacing the rear view mirror (mine is not auto-dim, homelink, garage opener, compass etc) and possibly putting brighter LED's for the backup camera.

*I think* my power train warranty is going to be expiring in two months (I read somewhere that some components were extended to 7 years?). Any suggestions or things I should watch out for? Any recalls? Car is at 94,000 kilometers (58,400 miles).

Love the way it drives and grips the road. I have the blizzack's installed to cope with the Toronto weather (not too bad compared to up north).

Welcome!! I'm sure some of the owners with higher mileage CX-9's will chime in on preventative maintenance for you.

Welcome to the site. I'm fairly new here as well. I can't help you out with the higher mileage question, but I will say that once I upgraded to LED backup lamps I was able to see much better through the backup camera.

YUP! LED back-up lights are one of the first mods I did. Got some 1000lm each 5k white bulbs from VLEDS. They can only be on for a short time, due to overheating concerns, but they are recommended for back up situations because they aren't on more than 60 seconds at a time.
