new intake/ hesitation ??

i read this from another post by Pickledoe and Renesis who have an AEM:

"I have found that my car seems to be hesitating when i first accelerate and then kicks in after a few seconds. "

"I have the same problem when I installed my AEM SRI. Somebody told me because the intake pipe is too short. A short ram will help you a lot at high rpm like 3000+ but it will take away some low low end torque. For city driving, low end torque is more important..."

any body else have this problem???

I have not had that problem since I put my SRI on, on friday.

When you put an intake on your car, you gain a little hp, but you actually LOSE a little torque. Just keep the revs up!

no. not all aftermarket products are for HP and TQ gains.

i've put in a ractive intake... yes.. i also feel the hesitation... then i read somewhere about them duct tubes.. put them on and yes they do work^^ @ least i felt it... a cheap ghetto way... about 10-20$$cdn is more then enough..

cool air from outside goin directly to the filter instead of having it suck the hot air from within the engine~~

in the second and third pic... you should see 2 tubes... one under the filter and another beside it.. the 2nd one is just for fun... hehe
