Just bought an '07 MS3 about a week and a half ago. I love it!

Looking around at different forums, this one seems to be the best. Lots of info here and the community seems strong!

My car is all stock except for dealer installed Cold Air Intake and Sport Exhaust (Warranty still intact (thumb)) The previous owner was fantastic, took great care of the car.

Couldn't be happier!

Thanks, it's silver, and I'm not sure yet. I'm poking around the board here trying to get a feel for things. I'm not all that keen to void the warranty since it's my daily driver now. I just got new tires on the stock wheels (Continental DWS's, what friggin fantastic all seasons, they rock in the snow) I'm thinking really just cosmetic stuff, for now at least. Maybe powder coat the stock wheels black (love to see what that would look like on a silver speed) and get some mud flaps. If I find some tinkering I can do underneath and keep the warranty intact I'll probably do that, but I'm just now getting an idea of what available for the car (There's SOOO much info on this board!)

For now though, I'm just enjoying the hell out of it, I have a fantastic 20 mile commute to work and the car was just made for it!

Welcome, I am new here also since I just bought my MS3 about 3-4 months ago...I had the rims powdercoated matte black about a month ago so here is what it will look like if you have the same silver that i do...

Holy sh*t that looks amazing. I'm doing it. (Yes, same silver) I was thinking of doing black badges too. I saw MAZDASPEED badges in black.

Thanks! I took them to a local powdercoating shop and it was $300 bucks. Also I also bought the black MAZDASPEED badge from ********** too but it wasnt what i was expecting, they are black chrome which looks great but I would rather have just normal black. I could sell it too you if you like at a discounted price from the website, PM me.

Thanks, it's hard to tell the finish of the badges from the site. I'd want them matte black too, probably better just get them done? It also looks like you have different bulbs in your fogs?

Yeah I upgrade to 8K HID's in the headlights and foglights, I also agree about the matte black. It would probably be best to have them done but I dont see anything wrong with taking them off, sanding, painting then adding some double sided tape to attach them back. Would save a few bills
