New exhaust and intake but my cars actualy slower?

I got a K&N typhoon intake and a Magnaflow cat back exhaust and it feels like I actually lost power. Is it because the computer needs to get used to the new amount of air from the intake or something?

Any help would be great?

When I first installed by Cobb SRI it didn't feel slower, but it didn't feel faster, and the car was a bit jumpy. By the third or fourth time I took it out, if felt much smoother. By the time the week was out, it felt great and I could tell it was faster.

I think they say drive 5 times for the ecu to adjust. So if it still feels messed up in a week, post back up, we'll be here to trouble shoot!

Your car is still operating with the long fuel trims from having the stock airbox. Unplug your battery terminal then plug it back in after a couple of minutes. This will reset the ECU's long fuel trims.
