Ok.. to start off, i'm new to this. so help me out..
iv researched for 6 month and have decide to get MS3, brand new 2010.
LOVE the car so far. i was thinking of modding my car lightly as ppl in this forum would say, whats light modding about. like intalling intake n' stuff? (so that my warranty wouldn't be taken off). also wanted to change my lights. Whats the good site to purchase lights. Help me out pls

WELCOME DUDE...these guys just tough crowd...so don't take it to heart (flame2)
Wheels and a springs will make it look like this...then ppl will drool all over it.
looks just a personal thing..ya know...I personally hate the front grill.
but when setup agressive, It looks very nice.

as far as mods
I decided to stick to bolt on's...
MAzdaspeed CAI and Mazdaspeed CBE.
This way,,, i can get dealership do oil changes and general maint etc.
plus tranny warranty stays intact.

my 2 cents.

wtf did you paint your car? or is that a canadian ms3?

OP, wait for the 2011's, you will get hid's, rain sensing wipers, led tailights

I use to hate the new 3 front ends, but have grown on me. One of my favs:

Not awful.. but not nearly as good as the prior years..
But, we wont have to worry long.. Mazda has abandoned the Nagare styling system thankfully

dang.. nice moddings..
i got a black one. love the color... it would look better if i tint it and have my taillight smoked out.. but before getting it done, is there diff taillights that i could get for my ms3. like a custom one, cuz i really don't like how the factory taillight looks. =/ and wats a good halogen lights that i can get for my front lightings. like a serial or model num.
thanks for all the replys btw.

Both of the above 2010's look amazing. I think it's the lowering and lip that does it. The smilie face has grown on me too.

Keep the lights low or go with black wrappings (paint or clothing). You can hide a lot of ugly that way, with cars and with people.

Seriously, though. Even though I was glad to have purchased the Gen 1 car, I would not have hesitated to buy a Gen 2 if I were shopping today. That "grin" is starting to grow on me.
