Yah EGR valve junk up at this mileage seems to be more common now a days... Tim's CEL came on today too, around the same mileage so wonder if its the same code.

yea Tim I had that code on my Pro5 same code for my car, random misfire, be careful because it happen to me and then next thing i knew my coils were bad.
Wow what an awesome day! Hope people were able to get outside. Wife and I did a ton of yard work and gave the Jeep a complete exterior clean. She's good at buffing.

thats random misfire.. you might just need new plugs
How far does it stumble when it starts after that long? Like it starts and almost stalls or just studders real quick?
Edit:
I know you just replaced the plugs this week but I would atleast recheck the gapping on the plugs.. its really quick to do and would at least eliminate the plugs as a problem.

well i see that u have denso's..are they the IVT22'S?? those come pre gapped so that shouldnt be ur problem..

i had a nice techniqes, sold it at a yard sal like 10yrs ago...let ne check with my friend...he may have one, or two
As soon as it starts up it just stutters for a good 1 - 2 seconds and usually kicks right in. This morning surprisingly no stutter.
I should check but I may just bring it in this week a few things that I need done. It would be easy just a PIA taking the TMIC off to check plugs/coils.
no denso's anymore. I went back to "new" stock plugs to see if the Densos were causing my start up problem.
Def suspect. How would I check?
I bought a code reader and I cleared the code last night. It has not returned and I just drove from Hartford to Wilmington, MA this morning. I had one possible indication early this morning right after start up but it didn't show up as a code because it didn't persist long enough. I rescanned multiple times on my way to work with no issues. 2 hour drive.
EDIT: Thanks all for your help.
EDIT2: I use shell V-power. They've recently started advertising this Nitrogen additive that allegedly cleans your engine gunk. Well this startup issue started around the time Shell started advertising this. I'm switching gas supppliers. I have no idea if all gas co.'s use this additive or if this could be contributing but just something I noticed.

The technics SL-1200's still go for big bugs on eBay. They're the popular choice for DJ's and mixers. They haven't made many changes to the design over the years but they still sell for $600/new.
Thinking about picking up one of these. Reviews are very positive and it's basically an entry-level audiophile unit. I'll have to get a decent pre-amp as well to truely enjoy vinyl.

I have a turntable I'm not using with a nice cartridge that was given to me by a friend so I could get into vinyl. If you are just getting into listening, this would be a nice setup to start with (I can let you borrow it until you grow out of it).
(It's a Technics SL1100, direct drive, and I forget what the cartridge is, but it's nice and my friend is a wicked big audiophile).
