well, I guess I figure before I try repairing my steering knuckle, I'd see if anyone has one layin around. Besides, I dont think JB weld would hold up for too long anyways.
My knuckle has alot of slop/play in it where the ball joint attaches. Its scary to drive. at 50 mph, it feels like someone is tapping my heels through the floor with a hammer. The wheel physically moves back and fourth when I lift it off the ground. I thought it was just a ball joint. Then I looked at it. basically the pinch bolt and the slot in the ball joint is all that is holding the ball joint it. its bad news.
So, I have a 1999 mazda protege ES. I am assuming any 3rd gen 4 or 5 lug knuckle will work... if thats wrong, please correct me. I would like to get it fixed ASAP.
