So, I found a set of wheels on Craigslist, and before even checking them out, i want to run it with you guys here.

I would like some input on :

A) Overall appearance, and how would it look on a MntBlue P5?

&
B) Would i have any issues after installing them? ( rubbing, wrong offset..etc)

Here is the Craigs-link(Which, bdw, i got the price down to 300$)
&
[The sellers story is " bought them from a friend for 400$, but wouldn't clear the brakes, and put em on craigslist" or something along those lines]

those wont really work on our cars due to the low offset. i have 17" wheels with a 42+ offset and those rub on the fenders when I go over a dip with people in the car. it'll be a lot worse since those are 18s. Don't go bigger than 17 (imo that is). On top of all that I am not a fan of those sort of wheels. Probably 50% of tuners have black wheels with a chrome lip, its played out. I say save up for a good set in a nice sliver finish or if you really want a color go with gold or bronze. That is of course just my 2 cents.

Thanks, thats what i originally had planned, going for a gold painted set, or gunmetal. Its just that im on my snows right now. And i sold the stock 16's for 300$ and was looking for something nearby and for a decent $. I found othes. but no reply..! NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR EMAILS! lol

heres some by me:
1) these are nice, but need a fix, and i emailed him 5 times i think (even on the day he posted them) and no reply! :/
2)This guy did reply, but they were sold >:/

p.s

What offset do the stocks have? the 16s w kumhos

You should never buy a set of wheels from a guy who takes pictures of them next to his toilet.

^hahaha I noticed that also.
But I think its an extra in garage/storage. I doubt anyone would post it up next to the throne haha

I have +43 offset, 16" and mine rub on big dips, barely, but they do. Check out discounttiredirect.com They have pretty good prices on their wheels.

Alright thanks. That's the info I was looking for.. to be honest I don't know much on offsets, but just wanted to be safe, than sorry .so I guess I'll wait a bit longer to find more.

my opinion, if your cars blue, go with a gold, bronze, white or silver. like flash said, most "tuners" have a black and chrome wheel set up and it usually looks cheap, unless on a luxury car. save up and get the right wheel and fitment you want. you don't want to settle, wheels will make or break your car.

I'm sorry but black with polished lip is done way too much sorry but just saying if you want to stand out I'd go with like an all black if thats the color you want or like a solid color maybe a gold with polished lip would look cool

The style of the wheels is not one you should put on a p5 specially if its an import, my opinion dont get them and on top of that they will not fit with that tire size. Just like one of the members said on top, "stick to 17's", I have the mazdaspeed racinharts on my p5 and have it slammed and the ride is good as long as u dont have too many ppl in the back. Good luck finding wheels...

Just a thought...with only 130hp (and much less than that at the wheels) you're going to feel an increase in unsprung weight. Look for stuff on the lighter side, avoid the boat anchors (unless that's your thing).

All very good points! Thanks for the honest input everyone.

i found some more:
Axis Tuoring Cup 17's w/ Kumho
and a pic since its not in there:
these could be painted gold, bronze, or gunmetal, or whites not bad either?
BUT THE SELLER HAS NOTT RESPONDED EITHER! sOO Frustrating!!

@475$ w no tires
but finding low pros for 18's isnt cheap, and theyr already 475$..so probably wont buy since out of my budget right now..

Those are pretty sweet, I have never seen wheels with color accents in that area. But at the same time I love my wheels, they are perfect for my car...minus the fact that they rub and the rear center hubs dont really fit all that well. Needless to say do your homework and make sure they will fit without any problems.

Right, il have to make sure they wont haha.

& yeah, i do like your wheels a lot also, but the pinstripe in that spot is pretty unseen.

what do you think of the last ones for 400$

if the offset is 45+ or higher and everything else matches up, they look like something i would put on a midnight blue p5. the only problem I see with them is the lack of the center caps on each wheel which won't look good if they are missing. BUT if you get them and if by chance the stock p5 center cap fits that is an easy fix. the tires, if the wear isnt bad, are very good (they are the ones I have on my summer wheels).
