Need How-To for removing Pro5 Head Unit

To all the experts out there,

I am new to these forums and also new to dismantling the interior of my 2003 Silver Protege5 w/ the stock Single CD Player, and the Tape/MD slot empty. I have purchased the PIE MAZ/PC-ALP CD CD Changer Interface / Auxiliary Input Converter and the P.I.E. ALP/M-RCA Alpine M-Bus Auxiliary Input Converter to connect my iPod to my Proto5. I just would like good step by step instructions on how to take out my Head Unit (HU) and plug in the necessary cables. Pictures would be very helpful. Thanks and this forum site is pretty awesome well else would I have found out about the above products?

Yeah, read that thread.
It's difficult the first time, but after the first time you can remove it in less than 3 minutes.

Put the side coat-hangers angled from the inward side going out into the headuit, then push both outward from the center.

The sides of the radio are only covers that hide the removal holes. Take them off.
Go buy the correct removal tools, 2 sets of Ford radio removal tools. Walmart and auto parts stores sell them. Put the 2 sets of tools into the radios openiongs for them. Push outward on each and pull toward you. The radio will slide right out.

I changed my head unit couple weeks ago. It was the first time I ever pulled out a head unit. Its pretty simple and only took me 5 mins to figure out. If I were to do it again, it will probably take me a minute.
