i love the evo wings! lol and just out of curiosity.. idk if anyone has tried this but blkspdfreak or notspcy do you think the bc2 front bumper would look good with some kind of lip? not the autoexe lip obviously but some kinda aftermarket lip. just a thought..

u gotta remember this is a body kit front bumper. its already pretty low. adding a front lip will just make it that much more vulnerable.

Agreed, don't add a lip if you are lowered. I have the BC2 kit, and I'm lowered on coilovers. Front is maybe 3-4 inches off the ground, scraped up many times. Nothing in a while though, I've learned where I can and can't go. The BC2 kit is a hit or miss with fitment. Mine was fine on the rear bumper and side skirts, but the front bumper wasn't as good. If it doesn't have great fitment, it's most likely where the front bumper meets the fender.

If you install it, PLEASE get it painted first. I'm not sure if there is anything that I hate more than an unpainted ricer body kit.

Maybe he just wants to test fit it. You DO NOT want to paint an aftermarkey body kit before you test fit it. If it needs a bit of work, you are wasting money painting it first.

Body kids, eh? Must be the new carbon fiber... But seriously does it even matter, 95% of the "kids" out there make the MSP look like crap anyways... Really makes me sad that the few remaining Speed's out there are ending up like this...

It's his car, let him do what he wants..........
Back up this 95% fact you seem to have. You are jumping to conclusions when you don't even know what body kit he has. It's kind of funny you say this too. Aren't you looking for a CF trunk? I mean, seriously does it even matter?

Yes, in the end it is up to an individual to decide the fate of a given vehicle... However, this is an open forum and as such I'm entitled to my opinion...

If you want to get technical the "95%" was just a means of conveying that the majority of MSP's with aftermarket body kits I've seen look less than visually appealing or poorly executed simply due to the fact there are not that many to choose from and the limited one's available look/fit like junk... I also understand that carbon fiber is not for everyone although I myself am quite fond of it...

Ultimately no, it doesn't matter really, life will go on regardless of whether or not someone puts a body kit on... Even if it does look terrible...

what if its not lowered and i just wanta protect it from dragging or anything? would a lip do me well?

^no. if and when you hit, its still going to f-it up. adding "another lip" will probably cause more damage and in my opinion would not look good on a bc2 kit...

Okay. So basically I should keep the stock bumper cause there's a good chance I'll drag/crack the bc2 front bumper?

not copy me, mix it up. i dont think anyone has this setup with a msp front lip and jdp splitter.

by the way that picture is a drawing obviously.. but thats the career i'm going after-- automotive design. so i'll be the dude drawing that stuff and coming up with designs for our cars in the future hopefully lol. i doubt anyone cares but i just thought i'd throw it out there

if you looking for one like that... i don't think there are any specific ones made for our cars that i'm aware of... i'm sure there are some universal ones out there that "might" work
