Was vacuuming the drivers side of my '12 CX9 and noticed this doo-hickey poking out of the left side panel, just to the left of the parking brake pedal.
...it appears to be some type of contact or pressure switch. I tried to trace the wires back without removing too many panels but it just went into a larger bundle and couldn't follow it any further. It did have a stick-on label with "000-8F-Z03" on one side and "P3465" on the other.
When I googled the part number, I got a hit here, and it says its a "reset button". Any ideas what it resets? I pushed it like 6 times and it didn't seem to do anything. I drove the car afterward without incident. No hits when searching the owner's manual either.
Any ideas would be appreciated! Cheers,
Bufffan
