My new toy

Instead of waiting for the UPS guy (missed him the first time) I drove 34 minutes to the location of my package and picked it up! ... lol

First impressions, I was running the stage01+sf v100 and I honestly couldn't really tell a difference.

I was so anxious to get it up and running I didn't even realize it was the v100 and immediately downloaded the v102.

I don't know if its in my head but DAMN. My car gets DOWN.

Question, how accurate is the boost live data option? Some of these spikes scared the crap out of me. I think I saw 19 once.

You should take it easy for the first 100 miles or so and let the ECU sort out what's best given the climate and fuel you're using with the new map. I remember when I first flashed the ECU with v102, the first few times I got on it, it felt like a beast. But now, after a few hundred miles, it doesn't feel as strong as it did that first week but it could just be that I'm getting used to the extra power. Hard to tell until I quantify it with some #s.

Thanks for the info. At first I wasn't trying to get down on it, I was scared something might break, but eventually wanted to see if I would hold boost past 5500 rpms .... love it.

Anyone play around with Economy mode? I want to run the map but am hesitant considering it tells me not to do so without the stock airbox.

Yeah, there is definitely more power after 5,500 but it pretty much falls flat a bit past 6,000. Keep in mind, I have a bone stock car so I'm sure there's more to be had once I get my Cobb SRI, test pipe and TMIC (at least I'm hoping so) installed. FYI, the highest constant boost I've seen so far is 16.2 PSI which is right in line with Cobb's stated max of 16.5.

I spiked 19.4 once, and I hold around 16.4.-16.9.

You running the stage01 map or stage01+sf?

I'm currently using the MSF v102 Stg1+ map. It woke my car the hell up. I'd highly advise trying those out.

My mods are very light: Cobb SRI and Forge BPV.

Just uninstalled the AP as I had them do the PCM reflash today while I was in for my first service. Will be re-installing the MSF v102 Stage1 map later tonight as my car is bone stock. Can't wait to try out the Stage1+ map when and if I ever get my Cobb SRI - sucks that it's taking so damn long to get them off backorder!

the spikes may be due to a need for a WG upgrade. i believe that the WGA in your car has upgrades readily available now. congrats on new engine management.

got my new toy too last week. My car is pullin hard too. i'm within the mod requirements of v102 stage 2+ mscai and tbe. I took out my forge bpv cause it says stock bpv. no more hiccups too, but then i havent had them since i used the strongest spring of forge. I will be dynoin this weekend and maybe will drag it the next.
