Today I was giving the cars their first good "once over" after a horrible winter. When I was drying off the 3 I had the backdoor on the passenger's side open. When I closed it the side molding was peeled back and it seemed to have caught the driver's door as well. I went ahead and peeled them off. This left a distinct yellow color where they had been. I got the bucket back out and washed it real good then dried it again. I threw a couple coats of wax right over where they had been. It looked so good I did the other side.

Have you guys who have done this had any problems with "dings" in the door?

Ive seen it done on several different cars....if you notice they are so low on the car they hardly protect from most cars.
