i installed the corksport turbo back and its like my car is now just dumping fuel. i do not have the o2 sensor installed and was wondering if this has anything to do with it?

yea i would think so put it back on i got the 2 1/2 apex downpipe and my gas mileage went up alot used to get 240 to a tank now get 300 at 7 1/2 psi its great

Yes whenever you mess with sensors you run the chance of adversely affecting performance, gas mileage, etc. etc.

because i am catless, will i need to do the signal modifier? im just trying to get my gas mileage back to normal since prices just hit 210 for a gallon

if you dont want a CEL, then yes you need to get an MIL elim.
20 bucks or so from apexr1.com

:D

2.10 a gallon.. damn, im glad Ky state law says gas cant be more than 2.00 a gallon.
Its about 1.70 here.. but ive paid 1.93 before.

Gas SUCKS!

the second O2 has nothing to do with the fuel mix, it is only there to see if the first car is functioning properly

Did you get the catted or catless dp? I wonder if the catted dp would still get a gas mileage gain?

Obviously it does have something to do with it. I'm guessing since it isn't hooked up the car is in limp mode and is just dumping fuel.

trust me it doesn't

Limp mode would make it dump fuel though, if he didnt have the FIRST O2 installed it would really mess it up, or if the two got switched during the install it would cause problems

Hey INGREXCO-

How to relocate your o2 was covered in the GB thread for the exhaust. You still have an o2 bung available even though you removend the stock one. Get yourself a MIL fix and then move your o2 sensor here http://www.msprotege.com/vbb300/showthread.php?t=54392&page=3&pp=30 as shown by albert's post.

Pshh... you can't beat Good ol' California. A nice $2.50 a gallon in some areas. Lowest in my area is $2.27.... Jeebus

Oh and on average I get 340 to 360 on a tank. Might be all the highway driving.

I get about 300 miles per tank. Mixed city & highway. It's taken to redline multiple times daily :) Premium gas is around $1.85
