My exhaust is missing!

Just picked up my second MSP Protege today. It is missing the exhaust starting at the converters back. Obviously it does not want to run. So, Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can find the whole exhaust? Thanks.

I think it's a pretty long shot to find an entire stock exhaust system these days. Probably best off just asking a muffler shop to weld you up a new exhaust, especially if all you need is the catback section.

That said, it should run just fine without the exhaust... it will just be loud and sound like ass! But if doesn't want to run, then you're probably looking at something else besides the exhaust.

I'm thinking the engine in this thing is garbage. Whoever put it in did a terrible job. Missing so much and the wiring harness is all screwed up. I can really see how bad it is when I look at my other one that is all original. Think I need to just start with another engine first.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if it is a turbo motor in it.

Yeah, definitely sounds like the exhaust is lower down on your list. Time for a KL swap?
