My ebay grille fiasco

Lol, I saw that too eariler. Didnt notice it till yesterday. He got snipped. The shield is off now and he is rowdy as ever. :D
 
Well 2 days since I filed my ebay claim and no response from the seller. In the paypal complaint, or messages I have sent him. Looks like I might get my money back after all.
 
It looks like crap... :( Hopefully you can get your money back.
 
Wow. I almost bought one of these yesterday. I'm glad I didn't. I'll wait for a DG fg grille group buy. If they don't have one, then I'll stay stock I guess :(
 
Well the Seller finally responded to the Paypal dispute. No agreement, so its Paypals hands now. Hopefully I get a refund, and by the end of the week. Man Im so burned about this.
 
****** Paypal said they found the seller not at fault. Bukllshit. The part is NOT AS DESCRIBED IT DOES NOT ******* FIT.

I dont have time to deal with the bulls*** of Paypal right now. BUT they will recieve a call from me tomorrow about this assinine finding of thier so called ******* "exprets"
 
i can tell you what the experts most prolly did... open up ebay,look at the seller's reputation .. "yea,seems he's alright. claim denied,case closed"

i once lost like 25$ to a dvd seller, whose products never arrived, whose statements on the "loss" of the package were rather shady and paypal didn't even answer when i filed my claim..
 
That sucks man. I got a EREBUNI one for $136 and it fits PERFECT. I did have to drill the 2 holes, but the fit is perfect. The bottom of it actually comes out the the edge of the bumper instead of being sucked in a little like in some of these pics. If anyone wants one, spend a lil extra and get a good one. I'll see if I can take some pics for ya. Good luck with it man!
 
Well, the wife called paypal 4 me yesterday and argued the point that the damn part does not fit, the seller would not take car of the issue, and that the damn part is not as described.

Again, they sided with the seller. (No you all know why I hate paypal)

So I will be modifying this grille to fit, along with another little surpise (If I can get it to work) :D
 
UPADTE: Just got off the phone with Paypal. Advised them of this situation and they suggested to me to file an appeal with this info, and they were very enthusiastic about it possibly panning out for me now that he has changed the item description for the same product.
 
I cant believe Paypal denied you! It clearly does not fit right. They usually side with the buyer??? Definately not as described. I guess he updateed it and now it is as described.

He updated his current auctions, you cant edit closed auctions. I have sent an email to the appeals department with links for both items, same pics in them and the "updated" description. I also am disputing that the auction does not state that the item pictured is not of item being shipped.

We will see what happens.

finally got mine on, and it wasn't easy!
Lots of fibreglass, filling, chopping! i enden up sticking it to the remains of an old grill to help get it to fit right.
It isn't perfect, but way better than before.
