Just wondering if anyone has got a time slip for their stock or modded MSP. I'd like to know what my car can beat in a straight line cuz I already know what it can beat around corners. I've read anywhere from 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds to 7.6 seconds. And quarter mile times from 15.0 to 15.5 seconds. I own a GT2 Passport and I took it out and laid down two runs. First was 0 to 60 in 6.65 seconds and second was 6.55 seconds. My best 1/4 mile was 14.98 seconds. The 0 to 60 time was accurate cuz I compared two different ways. My buddy was sittting next to me with his GPS and did a timing and speed comparison. Plus I looked at the timer right when my needle hit 60 mph and it was around 6.68 seconds. Keep in mind it was at night and it was around 50 degrees when I did these runs so that could be a factor. A couple of tests I saw were done when it was over 90 degrees outside. That makes a huge difference. Even when I'm driving when it's 80 outside my turbo won't spool at all. I've also seen modded MSP times. One was awesome: a guy running just a boost controller (everything else stock) at 9 psi and laid down a 14.3. I hope he wasn't lying cuz that is an awesome time. My buddy drives a 92 Sentra SE-R with the SR20DE obviously. He thinks he can stomp me which is complete bullshat. I need some more evidence to back that up. And also how my car compares to an Acura RSX-S, Focus SVT, Integra GSR, Sentra SE-R Spec V, TSX, Saturn ION Redline, Scion TC, Integra Type-R, Lexus IS 300, Accord V-6, and other similar cars. I just want to know where my car fits in. And I'm impressed with the overall performance of my car and potential performance in the future. Only 170 hp and breaking the 15 second mark is very nice. Turbo horsepower is way different then NA when running properly of course. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

i ran a 15.326 @ 89.49 stock. I have not heard of anything lower then 15.3 stock. the 14.98 that you had was off by a bit i say

Who knows

I know the 1/4 mile time I put up is gotta be wrong. I don't trust those Passport Timers too much. I just use it as a point of reference as long as it's ways of getting numbers stay accurate. Then with an EBC I can see what sort of gains 3 psi would give me. I know that I propelled my car 0 to 60 in 6.8 or maybe a little better though. Your time seems pretty accurate. Did you go to the track and get a slip. Whatever the case, I don't care if a minivan beats my car I just wanna know where the MSP fits in in the grand scheme of going fast. Cuz I know where it fits in with handling. Pretty much the best handling FWD car. Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

Don't you have to imput your cars exact weigth for those to work. Can't you just pull off onto a weighstation off the highway, or will they tell you to get lost?

all those cars are in the same ballpark
hmmmm not sure if we are in the same class as an Ion Redline. I haven't seen one yet but they are 205 hp supercharged, not sure about torque though? Stock for stock they have to have us by a bit. Same with type r to.

The MSP weighs 2843 pounds

I don't know about pulling into a weigh station. I don't know what they would say. I've always wanted to though when I see those damn things. Only for horsepower readings. For times you set rollout and that's about it. Rollout is the distance the timer lets the car move before starting. Mine was set at 8 inches. So as soon my tires spun 8 inches the timer started. According to the manual, dragstrips have a line where as soon as the car breaks it it starts timing. Usually that line is around 6 or 8 inches in front of the car when it's rearing to go. Maybe the timing mechanism in my device is not accurate. I don't know but I did some runs and they were very impressive. I'll try to get to a dragstrip and get a slip.

Do a search on "1/4 mile times" theres a whole list of times of stock and modded times. the fastest i beleive is 13.1

I raced a Redline the other day. I pulled on him by about a car and stayed there. But if it was colder I believe I would have rolled him up like a burrito. It was like 96degrees when we raced. Before you ask. fmic, sri, 3in exhaust, and 10psi
