So whats up with this, there are 2 purple and 2 green injectors, both have different part #'s written on them. Does anyone know what the difference is? I swapped mine to WRX 440cc injectors anyway but I am just curious.

tekkie-

The injectors flow exactly the same amount of fuel; it's the direction of their spray patterns that are different. Since the intake manifold's runners are not straight on into the head's ports, each injector's spray pattern is directed towards the port. Hope that makes sense.

what the? shawn...back from the dead eh? also the msp injectors flow more than the stock protege ones, right?

so does this mean that when replacing the injectors with larger ones, do we have to make sure they spray in the right direction?

btw, where ya been shawn? last time i was down at the dealership, they said you weren't there anymore :(

hmm different directions eh? well I wonder how it likes my WRX injectors that are all the same ? ok now I gotta get more info on this

thanks for the info though :)

Sweet, always wondered what the deal with the injectors was. The wierd thing is that my car is rich on 1&4 and lean on 2&3.

so does this mean we do have to worry about the direction they spray?

and wassup to you, jeff :). nice eclipse.

tekkie, how are the WRX injectors running for ya, and do you know what the flow is on the normal injectors?

the WRX injectors are running fine with the emanage, without it is a no go

the stock injectors are 280 cc compared to the 440cc wrx ones

there are other members running the wrx injectors without problems as well
