MS3 wishlist

I say we start a list of stuff we would like on future ms3 models

for instance:
AWD
Integrated iPod with the steering controls (stock)
Moonroof
That awesome advanced keyless entry system
Heated Seats
If it's awd, then the MS6's engine tune
Dual Exhaust
40 Gb harddrive for the soundsystem
Better motor mounts

etc, etc, etc

how about...
If there's moonroof, then replacing that bar that makes so much noise, and replacing it with something a lot quieter.....german cars are very quiet with the moonroof open, there's no reasons the ms3 can'ts be either :)

I know this would be expensive, but what about replacing the the dash materials with something more like leather than plastic

I believe I saw posted elsewhere that Mazda had considered AWD for the MS3 but tabled it because they wanted to keep it different enough to not impact sales of the MS6.

That said, I'd be much happier with a RWD version of the MS3 whilst keeping the MS6 AWD.

Likewise, the MS3's moonroof was thrown out to keep body rigidity. I love moonroofs, but if I suffer stability issues because of it, I'm happy to sacrifice it.

I want.

My list would be thus:

RWD
18x8 wheels stock instead of 18x7
FMIC
MP3 player on the 6 disc changer stock
The AUX plug and lighter in the armrest console positioned at the rear of the console
Completely flat folding rear seats.
Driver side gas tank.
No carpet on the flat between left foot metal rest and 90 bend for pedal well (It hasn't yet, but I can already tell this is going to become worn based on where I rest my foot).
All leather seats.
Bluetooth Phone integration with stereo.

mp3cd capability
no hump in the rear seat floor
little longer cabin to provide more room in the back (srsly...who cares?)
awd or rwd would be fantastic
hid fogs
"privacy glass" - tinted windows from the factory
move the gas tank under the rear seats like the honda fit's so the space in the back is more useful

I believe if they make it awd and with a wider range of options ppl will choose to buy sti or evo more since they will fall in the over 32K range. just my opinion.
