Mounted RX-8 Wheels On 2002 PR5

Just mounted some RX-8 wheels on the car today. Check pics out there is no rubbing at all. Had to go to 215/35-18 to get them to fit. Anyway check out the pics.

Wouldn't they rub WITH a drop? I mean, he had to go 35 series just to get them to fit.

I always thought the RX-8 wheels looked ugly but there nice on the p5 now that I see them again.

yah my p5 is sitting next to a blue rx8 in the parking lot at work right now and I was just thinking when I parked how good those wheels would look on my car =)

Someone around town here has them on an MSP...and it looks amazing...

How wide are they, are they just 18 X 7, or 8...I think the RX-8 wears 225's in back, which seems a little wide for a 7" wheel...

but anyway...he didn't appear to have any rubbing problems at all, and the MSP is lower than the P5...I am not sure of the offset of the RX-8 wheels...but it appeared that the tire sidewall tucked perfectly under the the fender....Looked like they should have been stock wheels...

nice now I can buy the mazdaspeed rx8 rims...

I thought most of the Mazdaspeed wheels were 8" wide, but I checked wheelspecs.com & you might actually be able to get them to fit (would be a lot easier on a sedan though).

Good luck finding some for a decent price though.

Looks nice man, however i dont know how u run a 35series tire in NY...I have a hard time just with my 215/45/17 set up,...

um...i think fla has nyc beat on the pot hole issue. everytime it rains new ones pop up.

The RX8 wheels are 18X8 +50 offset.....awesome stock wheels. I love them. I was waiting to see what other cars people would put them on....the P5 looks crazy with them on....I love it.

If you do lower, roll the fenders and you won't rub according to the other guy that did this.

after every winter the roads up north are a mess... FL roads are a dream, i have spent a lot of time in FL and dont think i have ever seen a pot hole
