motor mounts

BOOSTR

1 OWNR MSP
Problem: The fact that I bought 2 SLS mounts which seemed like a deal at the time.
Both of them have failed, most recently the front mount. They or the supplier evidently used some real bad urethane to make the bushings.

Solution: Put back on my original front Mazda mount with 64,000 miles on it. It is still good and outlasted the POS SLS mount by 3 times so far. 30K on the front mount and 17K on the side. PATHETIC!!!

So as a former customer with 2 useless SLS mounts, I would recommend OE or AWR. I do not drive like a **** nut or many miles each year. It's f'ng ridiculous that both mounts failed so soon and a testimant to the lack of quality in the components used.

I have a AWR passenger side mount and have had the change the bushings on that thing twice already in under two years but to be fair thats they only "solid" motor mount I have. The others all have inserts.

I know that they are wearable items. I just don't think that they should wear before stock mount material. They are not as harsh as the typical AWR mount. Stock mounts have proven themselves to be more durable in terms of years and mileage. I'll just stick to stock mounts if I need to replace any more.

Just got done putting back on the stock mount. No more metal on metal sound.

I have an AWR on the passenger side and Minerva(Medieval) mounts for the other 3 and they show no signs of wear, had them for about 18 months.

Yea my passenger side and trans mount bushings are shot. I replaced the passenger side, but I want to keep the trans and get a bushing replacement.
