motor build questions...

after this summer im going to have all the bolt-ons and will be getting ready for some more serious mods. im going to build up the engine and upgrade the turbo. well i wanna know some things. first, what are some good places to look into buying a built motor? second, are there any alternatives, for example just picking up pistons, rods, and arp head studs? what things in particular should i keep an eye out for when shopping around for parts and building the motor. thanks alot in advance for any help.

MAM has the best built motor to buy it has the studs, pistons, rods and all that for making a built motor and upgrading the turbo i'd do most if not all through MAM. i forget who, but someone has a ridiculous built motor with a bunch of MAM stuff on it. hopefully they'll post here and you could talk with them more. here's the link to the MAM buitl motor you can find all the other turbo upgrades on the left side of the page.

best is subjective. if you don't buy a motor through MAM or MPI, find a good local machine shop with an experienced builder to do the work.
