Midas Exhaust lol

So I f'd up and got impatient and went to Midas and asked about magnaflow, guy assured me he had their knock off was just as good...(vx series muffler)...quickly looked up reviews and it came out positive although they were all truck and big car reviews...well...160 bucks (after 20 dollar tip) later I left and it was WAY too loud...highway speeds in 5th were giving me a headache...so took it back...spent another 20 bucks to ave them take it off (now on toledo craigslist if you want this thing but im not linking it bc this is not a for sale thread) At 3-4k rpm is was just resonating so bad the sound consuming the car with the windows up...maybe if it was just an autox car id keep it on there but thats not the case for me.

Moral of the story is watch the video and lesson learned ;-)

PS cam mounted on front windshield with windows up...so that gives you an idea of how loud it is.

my 4 in straight thru is loud as heck but i play music and always have my windows down so i forget about it lol unless i dnt have music then its like whoa when did i get a v8. so i understand where youre coming from. best thing about mine and why i havnt gotten it taken off is the sexy backfires.

sounds good though. its surprising how awesome our cars can sound.

If it sounded as soft in real life as it did in the vid I would have kept it. Normal videos in car on the front windshield you cant even hear the exhaust at all. If I dont sell it I may keep it around for when its paid off and turned into a nutty autox full time car.

you cant hear it well i assume b/c most cameras dont pick up deep bass of the exhaust. my camera wont even pick up the bass on my car lol
