Yea, it's been great for me.

I just hope they don't decide to start charging $300 a year and hold all my pictures hostage like PhotoBucket did. lol
I managed to download all my pictures back without paying the ransom but I lost track of where they were in the threads.

I'm back on here after being out of the car game for 10 years since I sold ProtegeMP3 #1226... Now I'm back but this time I have a silver MSP #2218 I recently bought. The MSP isn't near the fastest car out there and have a lot of mechanical issues and put $10K into them to be as fast as a V8 but I love driving them!!!
Years ago this was a hot spot for anything and everything Mazda. But with the MP3 and MSP being limited run cars over 15 years old there's not many of them still around. Plus the newer MS3 and MS6 is out....

Hi-boost turboed MP3- very nice.

I love the cars, they have an endless look to them. I want to continue doing what I can for this platform... we shall see.

Thanks dude.. Yep Hi-Boost turbo.. and yeah I love the body lines. Kinda ole school boxy like....
Now time to get started on the MSP. Typical bullet proof forged motor, LSD,swap trans gears and so on...*. Sucks its winter almost and my garage isn't built yet....

Now with the new forum, maybe i can attach pictures more easily. That is really my issue with posting pictures, finding a damn hosting site. Not that a lot has happened, still there are pictures worthy to be on here.

I realized I messed up a bit with my color scheme and all of my gt spec components were gloss black... so they'll be redone soon to be the custom blue I have grown(quickly) to love.

Regarding uploading pics...We've currently got a small issue with some images appearing rotated. We're trying to sort this out asap...It could have to do with whether the pic was taken in portrait or landscape mode.

Also...We've got a new hosting feature called "Media". You can use it to host pics, create albums and even embed albums in posts...Here's the link...

I really need to get back here more often. I donated my dearly departed Protege a few years ago.
Even though I had moved to Florida, it had seen too many winters up north and things started to fall off.
I miss my old car and what this forum used to be back when I was a vendor.
Good luck with the build. One of these days I'm gonna find a nice, clean MSP and restomod it!

I bought a thing last year, and finally got around to setting it up. 5000lb Quick Jacks. It’s pretty amazing. The height you see isn’t completely up and it’s nearly 2 feet of clearance to work!

I’ll be starting the tear down of the suspension components shortly. Going to have the subframes powder coated and I’m re- coating the other parts because I picked the wrong color.

Next update coming soon. I went out and bought a set of wheels. They're JNC034 17x8 +30 offset.

I was planning to go larger and I might in the future, but for now easier the better.

I wish it were almost- it’s a very light grey. I’m going to have to put a piece of white paper up to it to show difference lol. Should have went with a darker grey.
