Hey guys! I just installed a Mazdaspeed CAI to my MS6. Installation went well, but the cone looks kind of tight where it is placed. I took it out for a spin and the throttle doesn't seem as responsive as with the stock air box. There are no leaks anywhere. Does anyone have this CAI installed on their MS6?? How is the airflow/response in yours??

Please help!

Pull the neg. terminal on the battery to reset the ECU, then see how it feels. The air filter is in a tight spot, but works just fine there.

And make sure to get an Injen pre filter!!! Don't want to risk any chance of hydrolocking, plus it keeps the filter itself cleaner longer so you don't have to wash it as often.

Just tried it, pulled the negative terminal and ECU was reset (as well as windows--but this was fixed easily). I put back on terminal and started the car, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then went for a drive. It feels a little better. I'm probably going to have to let the ECU re-learn the CAI for a couple of weeks to see noticeable gains. What is gone is the jerkiness when shifting from 1st to second. It is a lot smoother. Thanks. I might re-install it this weekend with an Injen pre-filter. Next is the CPE or Magnaflow Cat-back...
