Mazda3 HELP ME GUYS!!!!

Hey guys!

I need some help with this. Ive been looking everywhere and I cant seem to find anything about the new Mazda3's common problems. I want to get one so badly!! I currently have a 2001 Mazda Protege MP3. After many dollars going into my current car my husband and I realized that its not very reliable and it costs too much for us to fix. I want a dependable cool car like the Mazda3, but I want to see the problems first.

Anyone else have this problem? If someone could please help me out and fill me in on the general problems that would be awesome. Or, if you could link me to the right direction that would be great too. I would really like to hear what you would have to say about your personal experiences though!

I'm wishing to get the new 2012 5-Door. Hopefully I hear more good news then I do about bad. Ps&Qs! =)

I think you want this over in the regular Mazda3 section. This section is for the turbo charged version of the Mazda3, I'll go ahead and move it to the right spot for you.

Mazdas in general are very reliable cars and I've found the Mazda3 to be no different. I have a 08 Speed3 and a 1991 Miata. They have 80,000 and 78,000 miles respectively. Neither of them have had any major issues and I've only performed the recommended maintenance. My finacee also drives a 09 Mazda3, loves it, and has had no problems.

Well that's good! My car happens to have a good 128k Miles on it and we've done so much work on it but nothing is working at the moment. We would have to pour another 1-1.5k into the car before is drives like when I first got it.
I'm calling it unreliable because no matter who I go to or what I read about my problem, its the sensors, and those are hard to come by. Not to mention it would be a huge pain in the butt to put them where they belong. Another costly
movement. I'm ready for something newer. Nice to have this car only a few months before it decided to turn on us; and after we treated it so well!

I'm still confused as to what the common problems for the newer Mazdas are though. Still cant find them x: Any ideas?

I've owned my 2010 Mazda 3 i-Touring w/Bose & Moon Pkg. for a little over a year now and I can honestly say that I have had no issues with the car at all; gas, oil, and tire rotations....that's it! I think the only thing I can really complain about is the lack of a USB port, but I use the Bluetooth Audio from my WindowsPhone Zune player.

You should look into getting the new 2012 MZ3 i-touring or i-grand touring hatchback with the new SkyActiv engine that gets roughly 40mpg. Good Luck in your research!
