Wow, a bunch of solid cars this month, each with their own personal unique style. Good luck everyone.

Cityracer, if you don't mind me asking how much power are you putting to the wheels? The engine mod list is endless..lol

Last minute bump, Lets get 11 more voters to make 150 total........

To be honest I am rather shocked at how far back I am from all the competition...

Ive only had her dyno'd at the initial tuning session. Min boost the engine was born with was 16-18psi, we tuned up to 25psi on the dyno. Then I did a bunch of trial and error with the cam adjustments, then retuned it all up to 28psi then ignition cut... The engine stays at 180 degrees even in 90+ temp days on 20min lapping sessions. Alcohol injection obviosly makes a huge difference in the hotter day runs. Not needed in winter.. Here's a dyno tuning vid;

and one of the track lapping sessions. Was working on the suspension and the car wouldn't rotate for the driver well on this run...

Because it's ford... lol jk. I voted for you bro because it's a serious track car. But I was also very close to voting for curcuit.

Cityracer's car is such a beast, but I think could benefit from better pictures. So what was it putting down at 28psi?

Thanks for the nod psycho-joe!

Dont get me wrong but i trully think this competition is more about popularity than whats actually done to the car.. Great competition this month but i trully thinks others deserves to have atleast more votes than what theyve got... CITY RACER you are definitely my winner man, you have have an insane amount of hard work involved in your build not to mention a deadly overall for your ride !!!!! (bowdown)(bowdown)(bowdown)

Not sure how you can say that? I don't think I am like super popular on these boards. I am really appreciative that people like and vote for my car, but its all for fun. If no one voted for me, it would matter to me, since I build my car for me.

People vote for the car they like. We all build our cars to make ourselves happy. Not everyone goes for big power.

Couldn't be any more true...I definitely agree...from day one I could have cared less how fast my car ever went...

Don't get me wrong, the big power guys have badass cars and I have thought about it more than a few times, but its just not for me with this car. Props to all for building their cars how they want.

GL to all with the final vote count. Thanks to everyone that voted. M247 Ftw.

If a lot of people like a certain style, they'll vote for them. MOTM isn't about how much or how little someone's put into their car. Its about the car itself. Everyone likes different things. s***, one year someone with a nearly stock yellow Msp won because it was just really clean IMO.
If there is a 'how much money you've spent on you're car award we should hit up Antoine about that..LOL.
I've spent way to much money on my car...I win ;).

Honestly I dont think you are that far behind..........Badass car BTW, My second car was a 94 Probe GT, I still miss it.........I looked at both mine and circuit's voters and we both have alot that did not follow the rules of having a minimum of a 100 posts to cast a vote. IMO If I lost an honest race I will give props, If lost via unqualified voters I would be annoyed............ I just hope that comes up in the final talley ;)

Rob

As far as i know They have always checked for unqualified voters so in the end the results are fair. I think most people would agree or confirm this thought.

I have notice that vote totals are lower after winner is named. I would imagine that is where the unquallified votes are removed.

everyone has a different idea of what "best" means. whether it's performance, looks, time spent, money spent, uniqueness, oldness, newness, or coolness! in the end, it's a complex logrhythm that no one completely understands...

Exactly and that's what makes the MOTM what it is...A genuine challenge powered by a genuine Community! (rockon)
