[Here's the monthly sales report I've been doing, it just adds the historical monthly sales from 2007 to 2010]

North America Mazda released their May 2010 US sales data.

In May 2010 1,424 Mazda5s were sold, up from 19.0% from May 2009.

For comparison 11,537 Mazda3s were sold in May.

Here's the data I have gathered from 2007 to the present.

In reality, only 227 more 5's sold over last May. In Canada alone, that number barely represents one more 5 sold in the month per dealer. But that number represents the sales of all the US dealers as well. Pretty crappy numbers IMO

I was talking Mazda's overall numbers (total vehicle sales). THe Mazda5 sales may be mediocre but overall they had a good month.

Let's not kid ourselves here. The Mazda5 fills a niche in their lineup but in reality it's not really a major sales leader. If I was a Mazda exec, I'd take 35% increase overall but a flat Mazda5 sales month any day of the week.

The Mazda 5 is selling very well considering that it is starting to get old design wise.
