Mass Air Flow Censor = Check Engine Light/Battery Indicator

My 2006 Mazda recently decided to hate me :-P

The check engine light is on and the code said I needed to replace the mass air flow censor. So I replaced it...

The battery light is also on.

The car now has a new battery and alternator...

However the check engine light is still on as well as the battery light and I can not get either to reset...

Any ideas to what is going on with my pew pew ride?

yeah, need more info. code numbers and their descriptions. age and mileage of car. and, how did the maf go bad? did you take on some water or something?

i take it the car starts and runs fine, just the codes wont go away.?.
