Made a turbo inlet pipe!

no the oem BOV sounds the same maybe i tiny bit louder, the most noticeable new sound its the turbo spooling, its sound pretty cool, more pronounced now. I wasnt trying to make my car any louder though, in fact i like it when cars look and sound stock but actually fly LOL... SLeepers rule!!

i know what you mean. my car looks like a sleeper with all the dents and black paint haha

Silicone

You inspired me to make my own too.
I chose to go silicone.
Everything is on ebay and comes in under $100.00
I chose to do 2.5"
items:
T-piece bov silicone tube (has 2.5" in/out & 1.25" out)
1.25" aluminum silicone connector

1 90 degree elbow silicone reducer 2.5" to 2.0" (9" in length)
2 aluminum 2.5" silicone connectors
1 wastegate vacuum line fitting - No welding required Drill hole then insert rubber grommet and insert aluminum fitting.

Done!

When I get the items I will be sure to post pics.
The OEM turbo inlet does not look that big at all.
I might have to get one middle silicone tube if it is a little short.
I will have to wait till I get the items and check the size.

No telling how long it will be till COBB releases their Inlet.
All the silicone tubes I ordered were 4 ply.
They come in black and blue.

I almost got 3" but decided to go 2.5"

looks good. You know, you could make a little $$ on the side if you want to make these for people...i'd be interested. just a thought...
