M-Spec Meet

Sorry, I've been really busy and a lot has been going on. I'll just post this so you are all aware of this.

Meet on Sunday, October 8, 2006 (weather permitted) cruise around the North Shore side. (I hope there's not too much construction on the roads out that way).

11:00 a.m. meet at the Soccer Field's parking lot across from Waipio Foodland's parking lot. Roll out 11:30 a.m.

This is opened to M-Spec (any Mazda enthusiest welcomed and past members), Team Pro5, and the Mazda6 Club. My cousin's club wanted to roll out w/ us. The club is very small and they have similar views as M-Spec so this is why I'm allowing them an open invite as well. No crazy behavior, I want this cruise to be safe and fun!

I am still planing the route. I'm aiming to roll out from the Soccer field and end at Windward Mall. I'm not exactly sure what is opened on Sunday out that way so we may need to keep our options opened on pit stops/bathroom stops. I'm thinking Giovanni's Shrimp Shack as a pit stop. I don't think much of anything is opened out in Laie. I don't think many of our cars can make it into the Matsumoto's parking lot, so I'm taking that off the agenda. (Our sedan almost got stuck in the lot, last I remember, it was poorly maintained).

I'm opened to opinions and I hope there's not too much schedule conflicts.

I also need at least two lead drivers just in case we get lost or there's breaks in the line. Okay, hope this is a good one! Peace!

Thanks Vern! Sunday is the 8th though ;]. If I'm not too s*** faced from my birthday, I will try and make it out.

Did everyone want a real cruise around the island? Maybe we can cruise the beach for a couple hours, take some shots, surf, jump off some rocks, etc etc. Maybe we can get Mike to come along for a last around the island cruise before he leaves (maybe for good).

Good idea about lead drivers also.

Let's take Chris to Farroh's (sp) in Windward Mall! They finally brought that damn place back after eons have passed! I wouldn't mind bringing back dem memories!

Gimmie ideas on pit-stops too.
Who has a good sense of direction as well?

Thank you for showing up guys. I'm sorry, but this was my first time planning something on such a big scale. I have learned much from this experience. I give a lot of credit to Chris when he'd plan these things. Now I see why he had better itineraries planned out. Now that I know where the better rest stops, parking lots, and eateries are, maybe next time I'll plan something better? I will also try to not dig out so fast hehe. I also hope it does not rain like that next time. I think most of us cleaned our cars! My car was so dirty after that!

Team Ex-R (my cousin's club) thanks M-Spec for the cruise. They have given us an open invite in December for a cruise or even a bbq, they're not sure yet, but they will have something probably at the Hawaii Kai Boat Harbor. Their club only consists of about 3-5 members of Honda's and now Lexus hehehe. Their views and rules are similar to M-Spec.

Thanks to the cool Addiction rep. for the stickers and shirt for Chris. He would like us to check out his forums (on the paper he handed out to us).

Well Chris, I really wish we could have made it to Ferrell's but that 1-1/2 hours wait was too long! Thanks for sticking it out with us until the end and ditching the movies.
